Yes, I have designations listed after my name....but what do they mean? More importantly, what do they mean to you?


AINS - Associate in Insurance


This designation deals with principles of insurance, the provisions of some of the most widely used personal and commercial property and liability contracts as well as life and health policies, and the relationship between insurance theory and practice.

AIS - Associate in Insurance Services

This designation signifies that an individual working in the field of insurance has attained comprehensive training in enhanced customer focus and in total quality management .



Both designations are through The Institutes. The AINS is the first step for me in obtaining the Associate in Personal Insurance. This will be my focus for you. The AIS is my commitment to excellence in customer service and continuous improvement.

This organization handles the conferment of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter CPCU®.

This year my goal is the complete and obtain the API as well as the ALMI for life insurance through LOMA.
